A Greener Delaware

time to go green clock

Have you heard the news?  It's time to help build a greener Delaware.  It's not really a new thing, but it is important.  Are you involved in any environmentally friendly activities in Delaware?  We will list a few places to get started and then turn it over to you, Delaware residents, to share your green activities online, for all to see.

Green Delaware is a good place to start gathering green information related to your states.  They seem to have it all covered, from green jobs to green transportation.  They also have pages for green residents, real estate, education and social involvement.  If you are ready to become actively green in Delaware this is a good place to start.

The Delaware Valley Green Building Council is another site worth spending time on.  With pages like "Green Resources and News", "Get Involved and Get to Work" and "Education and Events" this is an outstanding resource for all things green in Delaware.

The State of Delaware Energy Office is the place to look for cash incentives offered to you for installing certain renewable energy systems.  Also on this site is a link to the Delaware Sustainable Energy Utility.  This is the first Sustainable Energy Utility of it's kind in the United States and a truly cutting edge program.  You owe it to yourself to check it out and get involved.

Can you think of anything else going on green in Delaware?  Of course you can, but will you take the time to tell us about it?
