Be Green In Nebraska

Green Building - Nebraska is part of the Nebraska Government website and is an excellent place to go to learn more about being green at home.  The home is where it all starts, and hopefully, it goes from there out into your community.  On this site you find information about how to build a green building and who the contractors are that are doing it.  You will also find all the info you need to make your present home as energy efficient as possible.  More building information can be found at the  Nebraska Green Builders  site.  So why would you want to build green?  This site sums it up perfectly.  "Building Green offers you the peace of mind that your home is better for the environment, healthier for your family and will save you money".

Another way to get in the game is to take a close look at your daily transportation.  If you are in business, take a close look at your business transportation needs.  If there is any way bio-fuels will become a part of your life anytime soon this is the site for you.  Nebraska Green Fuels Co-op  provides renewable energy products in order to help you preserve the environment and save money.  The time will come when much of our fuel will be provided this way.  It will be locally grown, processed and sold, all within a few miles of your home.
