I love seeing all this resurgence in the green movement. It has been a long time coming. For many, it has been with us since the 60's and 70's. For others, they are hearing it for the first time.
I came upon this grade school assignment written by my daughter over ten years ago and found it very interesting. The "Be Green" idea is nothing new. And there is no better time than now to make sure everyone "gets it".
Be Green!
People shouldn't throw trash on the ground or pollute, right? Well, even if you think it is bad, people still do it. If kids and adults would be more careful and throw trash away and carpool our world would be a greener place. So if we all get together and do this, it could change a lot! It is really simple, I mean, if one person did this, it would be one step to success. So imagine all of us doing this! We could save a lot.
All you have to do is pick up trash, so if you see a piece of trash on the ground, pick it up. Also, carpool, ride your bike, or rollerblade to school or anywhere. You should also plant trees, grass, or flowers.
So be green and make a difference!
