California Goes Green

California goes green with the help of hundreds and thousands of people who are trying to do something positive for our environment.  With the help of the teachers, the students, the parents, the builders and the governments, California is going green.

The first stop for green projects, news, laws and initiatives is the state green web portal, CA.Gov, Green California.  This site is your gateway to the latest information about how the state of California is working to reduce energy and resource consumption in state buildings, while lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and creating healthier environments in which to work, live and learn, taken from the site.

Build It Green is a non-profit membership organization with a mission to promote healthy, energy and resource efficient building practices in California.  Some of the info on this site include Green Building Event, a Green Product Directory and a CGBP Directory.  Click on Professional Training if you are looking for employment in a green industry, this site tremendous research for jobs and training.

We all know California is well know for it's smog, in and around the major cities like LA.  Electric cars are helping to reduce this air pollution problem.  Drive Green California is a dealers selling only electric cars and nothing else.  They recommend you come in and test drive one before your next vehicle purchase.
