Corvallis Green Club

Our part Oregon has gotten behind a project started by the Corvallis High School Green Club. They have started a ten year project to install enough solar panels at the school to provide about a third of it’s electrical use. The kids are having fun doing this and have been involved in getting estimates and networking to get financing and community support.
Thanks Glen. We try and check out and add more information to great posts like this. The Green Club at Corvallis High school is a real group of energetic young adults with a big mission. They will be long gone before this is completed yet they are working hard to get it established.
The twenty thousand dollar grant from Wal-Mart is incredible, considering the number of applicants. They still need more fund and would love all the help they could get. On the site you can learn about the project they are involved in and how you can help. They have a donate button and would put your money to good use.
