All disease starts with internal inflammation. Meat, dairy, sugar, flour, sodas, coffee, alcohol are all highly inflammatory foods. Giving up all of these is a big step, but truly needed for optimal health. Just giving up meat and dairy will improve your skin, inflammation and overall health

market day veggies Contemporary humans have not suddenly evolved mechanisms to incorporate the high carbohydrates from starch- and sugar-rich foods into their diet. In short, we are consuming far too much bread, cereal, pasta, corn, (a grain, not a vegetable), rice, potatoes and all too much meat and processed foods, with very grave consequences to our health. Making matters worse, most of these carbohydrates we consume come in the form of packaged food.

That 65% of Americans are overweight, and 27% clinically obese, in a nation addicted to sesame seed buns for that hamburger, with a side of French fries and a Coke is no coincidence.

It is not the fat in the foods we eat but, far more, the excess carbohydrates from our starch- and sugar-loaded diet that is making people fat and unhealthy, and leading to epidemic levels of a host of diseases such as diabetes. You can begin to experience more health and energy right away and start to prevent Disease, Optimize Weight, and Live Longer -- Guaranteed

By just eating a lower in refined carbohydrate diet. It is for sure this lifestyle will help you prevent disease, lose weight, look and feel younger, and increase your energy quickly and permanently.

If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, chances are very good that inflammation and the excess carbohydrates in your body are, in part or whole, to blame:

  • Redness and puffiness in your face and skin
  • Fatigue and frequent sleepiness
  • Depression
  • Brain fogginess
  • Bloating
  • Low blood sugar
  • High blood pressure
  • High triglycerides

We all need a certain amount of healthy carbohydrates, of course, but, through our addiction to grains, potatoes, sweets and other starchy and sugary foods, we are consuming far too many. The body's storage capacity for carbohydrates is quite limited, though, so here's what happens to all the excess: they are converted, via insulin, into fat and stored in the adipose, or fatty, tissue.

Any meal or snack high in carbohydrates generates a rapid rise in blood glucose. To adjust for this rise, the pancreas secretes the hormone insulin into the bloodstream, which lowers the glucose. Insulin is, though, essentially a storage hormone, evolved over those millions of years of humans prior to the agricultural age, to store the excess calories from carbohydrates in the form of fat in case of famine.

Bottom line is: “You must give up junk food, coffee, sugar and excess alcohol to have the lovely health and skin of a Radiant Divine Being” Then Replace it all with Organic Live Food of the Divine….

It is easier to do then you think…...we are all here to move through our addictions and remember the importance of our True Selves.

Raw foods and lots of filtered water help rid the body of toxins. To achieve a healthy complexion, drink plenty of water (start your day with at least 1 or 2- 16 oz. glasses of warm water) and eat plenty of raw food in your diet. Just start here, more raw food….. What goes into your body is reflective in your overall appearance.

Dietary Guidelines to get you started:

  • Eat whole, natural foods with as much organic as possible.
  • Fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts. Some whole grains.
  • Use only traditional fats and oils, extra virgin olive oil, expeller expressed sesame and flax oil and raw organic virgin coconut oil.
  • Eat as much raw and organic fresh fruits and vegetables as possible.

Try a Green Drink Diet to kick start your new way of eating.

Use whole grains, seeds and nuts that have been prepared by soaking, sprouting or sour leavening to neutralize phytic acid and other anti-nutrients.

Include enzyme-enhanced lacto-fermented vegetables, fruits, beverages and condiments in your diet on a regular basis. Use herb teas, green tea and coffee substitutes instead of coffee and black tea.

Another way of life to get behind is to become a raw foodist. Being raw is a 'perfect' way to eat if you can possibly make the full switch from vegan to raw food vegan.

I consider myself a raw food enthusiast. Not completely raw, but totally organic and about 50%-75% raw most of the time. I love being 'Raw. I would do it all the way if I lived in the perfect situation to be "raw" in. However, going green, green drinks, raw food is all part of my daily lifestyle, and I highly recommend it!

Why be Veggie at all?

fresh fruit In recent years, vegetarianism has become more and more popular and demand for vegetarian food and restaurants has been constantly growing. Here are the five most important reasons why you should consider going veggie.

1) Ethical

Most animals slaughtered for meat are highly developed beings. According to Marc Bekoff, professor of biology at the University of Colorado and author of "The Emotional Lives of Animals", numerous and diverse animals have rich and deep emotional lives. To kill such highly developed beings just to eat their meat and to shape their whole existence only for that purpose goes contrary to all standards of ethics. Furthermore, the simple fact that most people feel nothing but revolt and disgust when watching an animal being slaughtered may indicate that eating meat is contrary to human nature.

2) Ecological

This may come as a surprise to you, but the livestock sector is one of the worst environmental hazards of our time. It accounts for about 20 percent of greenhouse gas emissions, which is more than from transportation. Cattle Farming is the most important factor in the deforestation of the Amazon, as space is cleared for pastures and the cultivation of soy for animal feed.

The meat industry also produces high amounts of ammonia causing acidification. It’s also the largest source of water pollution due to nitrogen and phosphorus. Finally, there is the dramatic problem of overfishing which may be the biggest single threat to the marine ecosystems.

3) Health

Meat consumption has been linked to various health hazards such as excessive cholesterol levels, obesity and diseases such as cancer, bone loss, diabetes, hypertension, arthritis and heart disease. There is also the problem of growth hormones and antibiotic residues found in meat products and the risk of food poising when eating rotten meat.

Eating meat is not necessary and too much of it is definitely harmful. There are good vegetarian sources of protein such as nuts, seeds, greens, grains, legumes and high-value vegetable oils, especially coconut oil are a much better source of fat than meat or meat products.

4) Economic

As already mentioned, livestock farming is the by far less effective way of producing proteins and calories compared to a vegetarian diet. It takes many times the amount of water, energy and farmland than is necessary to grow vegetarian food. It has therefore been said that 20 vegetarians can live off the land required by one meat eater.

5) Spiritual

Many spiritual traditions such as Yoga warn that eating meat has adverse effects on the mind, causing fear, aggression and irritation. Programs such as one in Maryland Correctional Adjustment Center in Baltimore Prison showed a sharp decline in the inmates amount of aggressive behavior when they were put on a vegan diet.

Yoga also teaches that eating meat creates negative Karma. The Hindu scripture Manusmriti declares that the persons who buy, cook, serve or eat meat all incur the same negative Karma as the butcher who does the actual killing.

Finally, eating vegetarian can be a practice of Ahimsa (non-violence) which is central to several faiths such as Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. It can also become an expression of love and compassion which are the fundamental commandments of all religions and spiritual paths including Christianity.
