Green Drinks

And A Smoothie Cleanse





Why green drinks?  I discovered long ago that not only did I feel better eating all organic, mostly raw foods, but that certain foods really seemed to perk me up and give me the lightness of Being I was seeking.

These are the foods in which I have found work for me, and are my version of a Superfood healthy drink cleanse. I suggest a few different ways to launch into this way of eating.

For me it is usually more of a juice fast with green drinks for a day or two...or forty days as I have done every spring for the past two years. Another way is just doing raw fruits and vegetables and a green drink or two everyday for a few days to a few weeks for a good healing cleanse and rest on the body. Depends on you.

Some of you may wish to be eating high energy organic green salads, green drinks and Live super foods, such as hemp, maca, goji, coconut water, acaia berry, flaxseed oil, etc. throughout the entire time...others may just want to stop eating food and have it be a liquid drink diet solely. Which is the way I have done it. It can also be just a daily addition to your regular diet. I have a green drink for lunch most days, even when I am not doing a cleanse or a fast.

Either way is great. After several days of eating this way a new you will emerge....It is not necessary that you have all the superfoods on this List.


I use Vita mineral greens

Some of the additives you can use:

vitamineral greens

Hemp seeds

spirulina

flaxseed oil

Goji berries

evening primrose oil

Maca root powder

coconut water

royal jelly and bee pollen

Other Drinks:

Rooibos tea

green tea

Yerba Mate

de-tox herbal tea

Pink Lemonade

(if you feel you need more you can use a lemonade to supplement with as a take along daily drink to sip on in between your smoothies)

(Lemon, golden light water, raw agave syrup with cayenne)

tumeric and ginger (fresh, raw if you can get it) juiced grated or in tea

emer-gen C with MSM in water

All raw and organic fresh juices especially: wheatgrass a shot 3 x weekly at least *

carrot, beet, ginger, apple, lemon, orange are the main juices I use, cause they are easy to do and convenient. You will need a juicer or a local juice bar for fresh and raw juices....pasteurized cooked juices are not the same

Organic greens, parsley and especially kale blender with water in the blender. Add lemon, ginger, agave.....experiment, yummy!

Super Drink Cleanse

Recipe for the Green Drink I use:

all organic:

1 small head of Kale (or 1/2 head if larger)

3 Apples

Blended together as base

then I add to about 8 oz.

8 oz of apple juice

hemp seeds

1 tablespoon each of:

maca powder

vita-mineral greens

bee pollen

flaxseed oil

goji berries (if I have them)

1/2 frozen banana

Blend all together in the vitamix or blender twice daily or as needed

Plus PURIFIED WATER ~ (2 16 oz, glasses of filtered water in the morning first thing) Then at least another 32 oz the rest of the day.

This is all I am doing with the healthy drinks, Tea and water. However when you are beginning there are some other additives/supplements you can round it out with

**I use coconut oil on the body everyday after showering, this also gets into the system and is superfood good for your skin and organs.
