The Connecticut Green Building Council (CTGBC) is a chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council. Membership is open to anyone who wants to learn more about energy efficient green buildings and offers you the opportunity to network with other green thinkers in Connecticut. This is an excellent place to get involved in Greening Connecticut.
Organic Consumers Association has put together a great list of places in Connecticut to buy organically grown products. Pay a visit to the site and be sure you are buying your produce as fresh as possible. Be sure also that you are supporting local organic merchants whenever possible. It is good for you and good for Connecticut.
Connecticut College, located in New London, is a national leader in environmental issues. Spending time on their Green Living web site is time well spent, while you are there read, or download, their Green Living Handbook.
