Green In Idaho

Have you taken the time lately to see how green Idaho is becoming?  Maybe you should, and if you haven't already, get in the game and start making a difference.

Green Works Idaho is an excellent place to start the green journey, the journey that just might change your life forever.  Green Works Idaho is an organization focused on building community partnerships for a sustainable future.  They are the group behind the Idaho Green Expo  and many other green activities in Idaho.

The 3rd annual Idaho Green Expo will be held at the Boise Centre on the Grove May 8th and 9th.  Make plans to attend so that you can be a part of this exciting time, a time where the nation is coming together, one community at a time, and making a difference for our children.

Another site of interest, to learn about the green movers and shakers in Idaho, is the Idaho Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.  On this site you can learn how to become a member and start supporting green development in your town.  You can also learn more about the LEED program, an internationally recognized green building certification system.

Being green in Idaho really is important, for you, your neighbors and the rest of the world.  If you are not already active, take the time and get involved.  If you are active, take the time and let us know how.  By telling us what your town is doing green you are spreading the word, and others will join in.
