I'm sure there are many green parents out there, you know who you are, you want the best eco-friendly products for your children.  Nothing wrong with that, and if you are near Glendale, Arizona, we have just the place for you to shop.

It's located at 7149 N. 57th Drive in Glendale and is called Healthy Baby Happy Earth.  Some of the items you will find there are organic cotton clothing, cloth diapers and processors for making baby food.

Another unique feature of the store is their approach to multi use items.  This is where you can save money and be eco-friendly at the same time.  They have sleepers that double as a playpen.  They sell cloth diapers that work for you from newborn to potty training age.  They sell car seats also, one that will stay with you up to eighty pounds.  The idea is to find products that parents can repurpose, and not have to continually buy new stuff.

The owners of Healthy Baby Happy Earth invest a great deal of their time in researching products.  When it comes to babies these products need to be free of harmful chemicals.  When it comes to the earth, the products must be eco-friendly.

Beverly and her daughter Kimberly didn't stop with just finding and selling great baby products.  They went a step further and offer classes to help parents be better parents in an environmentally friendly way.  They have a boot camp for dads and a breast feeding support group.  We can also thank them for the Baby and New Mom expo held last year at the Glendale Civic Center.  You can look for that again next January.

Hopefully, parents going green all over the country, can find a place near home where their needs are catered to the way those living in Glendale, Arizona are.  If not, maybe one day the Swaymans will franchise their operation and make it nation wide.  Or, get together with other like minded parents, or partners, and start your own eco-friendly baby store for green parents.
