A site called Kansas Green Team  is a green resource for all Kansas residents wanting to make a difference.  They gather information about schools, government involvement, businesses and organizations as well as cities and counties.  They are trying very hard to cover everything green in Kansas and are devoted to sharing the knowledge of sustainable living.

I am a firm believer that sustainable living needs to be taught in our schools, from grade schools to colleges, so sites like this one bring a big smile to my face.  Kansas Green Schools will give you the tools to get the word out to all the schools and all the teachers in Kansas.  The greening of Kansas has to start in the schools, so see how you can help.

Another organization on the cutting edge of training our youth is sustainable ways is Green Works.  They are located in Kansas City and provide environmental education and workforce development for urban teens.
