Sun Protection

Sunscreen - The Best Sun Protection

It is summer and we need to be protecting our face from the sun. We need the sun for vitamin D, nice feelings, good color and warmth. Yet the rays can be harmful from too much exposure. 10-20 minutes a day is enough to get a good dose of vitamin D, more then that can be too much!

I recommend to get some sun on your body each day for sure! We need some vitamin D daily. However, make sure the face is always protected all year round.

Ultraviolet light from the sun comes in two main wavelengths -- UVA and UVB. It's important for you to understand the difference between them, and your risk factors from each.

Consider UVB the 'good ray' -- your sunny, best friend! However if you are out there working or basking in the sun, of course you get UVA there is no deleting the bad ray out!.

UVB helps your skin produce vitamin D.

UVA causes premature aging

UVA is considered the 'bad ray' because it penetrates your skin more deeply and causes more free radical damage.

Not only that, but UVA rays are quite constant during all the hours of daylight throughout the entire year, even on a cloudy, winter day.

By comparison, UVB waves are low in morning and evening and high at midday.

So, if you're out early in the morning or late in the day, you get lots of UVA (bad ray) and not much UVB (good ray).

Not a good way to produce vitamin D. Plus you increase your risk of cancer if that's your only sun intake, and you fail to protect your skin.

sun protection shades What's more, have you ever gotten a scorching sunburn on a cloudy day?

You think you don't need sun protection and you wind up being really sorry you didn't. That's the UVA rays at work. They can break through cloud cover and pollution and do some real damage your skin.

I offer a good sun protection, a natural sunscreen I am selling on this site, and at the place where I work in Eugene, Oregon, The Pearl Day Spa.

The name of my natural sunscreen Face Protector is Sun-O-One, named after my grandson’s favorite imaginary friend, GE-CA'S paradise home Sun-O-One, where everything is beautiful all year long! (no bad rays exist there either!)

It is also called Sun-O-One because it is an all in ONE Crème and can be used as a moisturizer as well as a sun protector. Each ingredient in this unique formula serves its own special purpose to nourish, protect, and moisturize your skin. One of those ingredients is GREEN TEA. They added green tea for a couple of good reasons.

First, many studies show that green tea is a powerful antioxidant. Second, recent studies also suggest that green tea may help you reduce the appearance of skin damage from sun radiation. In short, green tea helps protect your skin's cells by providing antioxidant protection.

It also contains carrot seed oil for sun damage repair, and a stabilized form of vitamin C which helps in reduction of sunburn cells, and prevention of the formation of free radicals in sun exposed skin. Fades sun spots, discoloration, refines skin texture and reduces wrinkle formation as well as minimizes existing wrinkles.

Simply put, this highly concentrated Face Protector helps to reverse existing sun damage and protect you by reflecting UV rays away from your skin. Plus, Sun-O-One is also water resistant, anti-inflammatory, non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic, vegan and:

• FREE of chemical fragrances

• FREE of parabens (harsh chemical preservatives)

• FREE of nanoparticles (allows sunscreen to be more cosmetically appealing as it's less visible, yet it remains on your skin's surface)

The active Ingredients in Sun-O-One Are ALL Natural

Titanium Dioxide & Zinc Oxide :

These two active ingredients in Sun-O-One Face Protector are natural minerals. Minerals that actually come from clay and beach sand deposits. This means, they are not harsh, synthetically-produced chemicals you'll often find in popular brands.

sunscreen And it may surprise you to find out that zinc oxide has been used all over the world for over 75 years as a safe sunscreen to help you prevent excessive sun exposure.

Unlike chemical sunscreens that absorb ultraviolet light, nature provides us with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide ... two remarkable ingredients that remain on your skin to reflect and scatter away both UVA and UVB rays from your body. How do they do this?

Quite simply, they do it by forming a physical barrier, without irritating or clogging your pores.

So remember to protect your skin on a daily basis. Especially the face. We only get ONE face~it must last for the duration!

So treat it well and protect, protect, protect!!!
